How can I get my fishing pole on a plane. It doesn't fold up. I don't want to buy any travel case.?

My flight carry case is 4 inch PVC drain pipe with caps on each end.


get a piece long enough to handle the longest rod, and when loaded with rods I used duct tape to crisscross both end caps to keep them inplace for the gorilla baggage handlersHow can I get my fishing pole on a plane. It doesn't fold up. I don't want to buy any travel case.?
make your travel case either out of a carpet installers tube (what they throw away the carpets are rolled up on) or out of some PVC water pipe from home depot close the ends with end caps after you thread them. you can tape a handle or shoulder strap to them as well.How can I get my fishing pole on a plane. Charter a plane. You can't have your cake and eat it too. It would probably be easier and cheaper just to buy a combo at wally world when you get where you're going. I wouldn't let my gear ride in the cargo of a plane. It WILL get tore up.
you could try and get them to just rest somewhere in the cargo place, if you need it really bad i would suggest though either getting a folding rod and keeping your reel or buying a case
Just buy a cheap one when you get where you are going
