How can i know if i am banned from travelling from dubai airport in case of non-payment of credit card dues?

in case you disappeared with your debts still standing you can safely assume you are banned. However if you want to pay back write to them first and start paving the way for your visit. How can i know if i am banned from travelling from dubai airport in case of non-payment of credit card dues?
If you got your money to repay to the bank just give a visit you will come to know the consequence, but on the contrary don't have any idea to pay back don't even look-down through the window while you fly over UAE.

The way I carry vitamins is by putting them in old prescription bottles from which I've removed the prescription label. I find that works very well, and It's free.

Whatis the case lawthatsays ';Where several cars traveling inmass over the posted speed, their speed is legal';?

Case Law states ';Where several vehicles traveling, in mass, have exceeded the posted speed limit, those vehicles are, for the sake of safety, proceeding at the legal limit';. Simply stated, you are driving in and with the traffic flow over the posted limit. As all are doing the same speed, regardless of the posted limit, you are all to be considered driving at the legal limit. What is the case from which this case law derives?Whatis the case lawthatsays ';Where several cars traveling inmass over the posted speed, their speed is legal';?
Actually it says, you are supposed to keep up with the flow of traffic. ~Whatis the case lawthatsays ';Where several cars traveling inmass over the posted speed, their speed is legal';?
I have seen the highway patrol in Ohio stop over 50 or more cars at a time on the interstate and issue citations to all of them.
Even if this is true, the drivers at the front can still be done for speeding and the rest can be done for driveing without due care and attention, which carries a much heftier punishment.

When traveling by plane. Is it OK to take things like lotions perfume deodorant in the suit case?

Yeah you can, but the lotion and perfume must be 3oz or less (each) and you have to put them in a quart sized, clear, ziptop bag. You can bring the entire thing of deodorant, but it has to be the solid kind. If your going to bring the aerosal or gel kind, you can only bring up to 3oz of it. (this is only for carry on)

If your going to put all those things in your checked in bag, you can bring the entire bottle of perfume, lotion and deodorant (even the gel kind) That 3oz thing only applies to the carry on bag. When traveling by plane. Is it OK to take things like lotions perfume deodorant in the suit case?
    yep

but i dont carry anything in my hands when iam in plane,,,lol,,i hate to carry anything

When traveling by plane. Is it OK to take things like lotions perfume deodorant in the suit case?
    of course
All of that stuff has to be in 2 oz. or less containers, and you have to be able to fit it all into a quart-size plastic bag. Your airline carrier should have all the information you need on their website, as well.
Yes, but not in your carry-on luggage
In the suit case YES... But they won't let you take these up on the plain WITH you..

    You understand the difference??
Yes but if you take it as carry on it has to be under 3 oz and in a ziplock bag
You could be carrying some lethal virus in those perfume bottles for all they know...so...no.
its not ok to put that stuff in carry on luggage but you can put it in your other suit case
From what I know now. Yes it is ok to bring lotions, perfumes, and deodorants in a suit case when traveling by plane.
I think you can have it in your checked luggage but in your carry on it has to be in the 3 oz size and in zip lock bags(qt size) Just check with your airline to be sure.
Yeah it's ok to pack them, the only restrictions are in carry-on's. If you need something carried on, your best bet is to contact the airline, they'll let you know what you can and can't bring, and also how much.
If you're in the US you have to follow a lot of silly guidelines. I'm too lazy to go into them here, but it involves all 3 oz bottles put into plastic bags, etc. Look it up. That's for carryons. You can put them all into stored luggage without a problem.
    yeah

Can i bring my cheese suit case with me when traveling to africa??

yes sure you canCan i bring my cheese suit case with me when traveling to africa??
You'll have to check it. They don't allow cheese as a carry-on. It tends to stink up the cabin.
Not if you want to get eaten by a lion
yes and i hope you and the cheese are eaten alive by the Hippo upon arrival!

You could print a photo of the case you wanted to get and enclose a note with it saying that this is what you were going to buy but it is out of stock. Also, enclose a check or gift card and tell her she should use that to pick out another one that she likes. If you know she wants a cosmetics case already, I bet she also has her eye on the one she wants!

Overstock removed the link but you can find some relatively decent ones at Sephora or Makeup Artists Network (www.makeupart.net). Do you remember the brand name? Try to google it and if you're lucky, you might find another web site that sells the case you're looking for.
your like takes you to a page without a product so there is no way that i can help you but search the product number on gooogle it you still have it
try looking for it at a different site, you man not get the exact one but one similar

Can i travel from a gun show on public transportation if I dont have ammo and have the gun in a case?

I live in a city and recently sold my car. There is an upcoming gun show in the area and Im interested in purchasing a gun for my house. Im aware of gun transport laws as they pertain to personal vehicles, but Im wondering if I can transport a weapon in a case on public transportation, assuming the case is locked and there is no ammunition.

Also, could i legally put a gun in a case for something like a guitar in order to not bring any attention to it with other passengers? Can i travel from a gun show on public transportation if I dont have ammo and have the gun in a case?
You should check with the rules of your local public transportation.

Some organizations do not allow guns on their property, so you might not be allowed to transport the gun.

Getting a ride with a friend is probably your best bet.Can i travel from a gun show on public transportation if I dont have ammo and have the gun in a case?
I don't think passengers and the driver would like you traveling with a gun, despite the fact it has no ammo, people might still feel threatened. The guitar case is a good idea but you might want to have a secret compartment or the gun covered by something when you travel, because with tighter rules after terrorist attacks, they might take the guitar case into suspicion, they have the right to go through your case.

It might just be a glimpse they could catch if the gun is covered poorly.

I suggest actually having a guitar so it doesn't look suspicious if they ask to see in the case and its empty.

Does anyone know if i can travel to the UAE if my father who was my sponsor has a case on him?

If my dad has an absconding case in the UAE due to financial liabilities, me being his daughter, will I have a problem to travel to the UAE on another sponsorship?Does anyone know if i can travel to the UAE if my father who was my sponsor has a case on him?
I'll repeat my answer I have sent earlier to you.

No you cant travel to the UAE not because your father has an absconding case but rather due to the fact that you are under his sponsorship and your residence visa has to cancelled NOT by anybody else but by the person who sponsored it.

In your case, it's your father.

Different sponsors - be indivisual or companies, can apply for your visa - BUT WONT BE ACCEPTED by the Authoriy as in their records - you are still in their list and still a resident of Dubai. Hence, how can a visa be issued for a person who- in essence is already having a visa.

Does anyone know if i can travel to the UAE if my father who was my sponsor has a case on him?
Hurray for all those absconding workers who ran away from their employers. Hey dudes ... all of you can come back again !!! your visa is automatically cancelled !!!

    Kidding aside...

I wish the UAE or Dubai in particular has this what you called ';automatic cancellation';. This means they can just hibernate and re-apply once again for another set of visa and for a better job!. Sorry to those legit employers whom they left behind. They can just forget all the costs of bringing an employee.

No need to file a case as after sometimes... the person will have an automatic cancellation !!!

    ADDITIONAL:

Sarcasm?.... C'mon .. how can you conclude logically about ';automatic cancellation';? How can you bend the law of the land by emotionally pleading your case ( that it's your fathers not yours - hence how you be held responsible for someone's mistake).....

How to travel when I'm a green card holder that has a pending case for a name change from marriage?

I recently got married and filed an application to change my name on the green card from my maiden name to my married name. I have to travel to the Bahamas in 3 months, and I was wondering if there is anything I need to worry about. My Phillippines issued passport and my current green card still have my maiden names on them, and I have left and entered the US with no problem before. I called USCIS 5 times and each time I got a different answer.

2 of them said that I SHOULD have given up my green card when I got my fingerprints and picture taken. 2 said that I dont have to do this. The last one said that I am no longer the person I claim to be on my passport so I should change that. One told me to call customs, which I did, and I was told that as long as my passport and green card match Im fine. But my problem is that if i really did have to relinquish my current green card, whats my proof that I am inded a PR until I receive the new one 6 months from now?!?How to travel when I'm a green card holder that has a pending case for a name change from marriage?
You have a valid passport in your maiden name, correct?

You have a valid unexpired Green Card in your maiden name, correct?

Those documents are sufficient for travel.

If you do not have possession of your Green Card, you can sometimes (not always) get an I-551 stamp in your passport at your District Office to use as proof of status. Make an Infopass appointment from uscis.gov

Even after you change your name on your Green Card, note that your plane tickets MUST be in the name on your passport. If you have not changed your passport by that time, you will also need to carry a copy of your marriage certificate to show the name discrepancy between passport and GC.

Happy travels! How to travel when I'm a green card holder that has a pending case for a name change from marriage?
Your ss# and your state issued ID will be enough. Most employers do not even ask to see the PR card. You can get a new temp. stamp in your passport, like the one you got at your passport at your interview.

well, i would travel anyway....I would love to see Aruba and any touristic place:)

From what i read in the papers, she wandered away from her friends to call her mom at night. that was a little mistake which cost her life. [don't know whether it happened that way]

In any foreign country you go or city of your own country:

1] take some pepper spray or a object with you. so u can hit that idiot and run.

2] have a phone and call the emergency services.

3] hit the most sensitive areas...(ouch!!!)

4]if in foreign country...learn the basics of language/manners...

distribute your phone numbers to ur family and friends.

5] and MOST IMP: DONT WANDER ALONE AT NIGHT ANYWHERE.

Go...have fun....stay away from guys named Joran
stay with your friends and dont go off with people you dont know or just met
None. It was an isolated incident. Use the same precautions you would traveling to the supermarket. Arubians are not usually a criminalistic community, with less that 1 percent of all inmates being Arubians. It can happen anywhere, and this is just one of the few things to ever happen in Aruba. Someone gets killed every 3 minutes in the US but we are used to it, so it doesn't get as much pub. Go to Aruba, enjoy yourself, its a wonderful country with great people. You will have fun.

So..a pebble can travel 3 times as a bullet. Which is 3000ft/sec=case bullet is 1000ft/sec?

    1) Will the pebble be equally effective as a hand grenade in space?

    2) How often for the International space station having to repair the damages cause by a single small rock traveling 3000ft/sec and explode like a hand grenade does?

    Questiom #1 Compares to:

    shuttle

    satitlite

    Space station

    rocket

    another rock

BOOM! SUKKA LUKA!!So..a pebble can travel 3 times as a bullet. Which is 3000ft/sec=case bullet is 1000ft/sec?
Sorry, but I don't know how often orbital stations have to fix punctures. Hardly ever is my guess. The chances of a pebble-sized meteor hitting a station are pretty small, although micropunctures (and radiation for that matter) are the biggest danger. These small particles are much smaller than a pebble. These are practically grains of sand. And they move much faster than 3Kft/sec. More like 7 miles/sec or 14 miles/sec., depending on at what angle they hit the space station or satellite. At that velocity, they pack quite a punch. When you see a meteorite (a falling star), that bright one-second blaze across the sky is usually the size of a grain of sand. Some are bigger, of course, and some even manage to hit the ground.So..a pebble can travel 3 times as a bullet. Which is 3000ft/sec=case bullet is 1000ft/sec?
In the early days of the shuttle program one of the orbiters was hit by a fleck of paint at very high velocity. Two objects in directly opposing orbits could theoretically collide at up to ~16000 meters/sec. (35000mph)The shuttle had a crater dug half way through the outer layer of its windshield, and that is very tough glass indeed.

For science class, we have to make a ';travel-brochure'; of a planet (in my case the dwarf planet Pluto)..Help?

I'm asking for linkage (lots of it), too pictures or artist interpretations of the former planet, Pluto!

    Hello there,

My son has chosen Pluto as well.

We found a very good site for information.

The Nine Planets for Kids, http://www.staq.qld.edu.au/k9p/pluto.htm

    You can add parts Like...

Did you know? Then give info on Pluto.

You can do a Survival Needs section and put all the things you would need to travel to Pluto or to be on Pluto.

You can give information on who discovered Pluto.

You can also mention who discovered it wasn't a planet and when etc.

Also, in Pulisher in Microsoft Office you can choose a Brochure Template, which will give you a good start.

    I hope this helps.

To those of you who responded that Pluto isn't a planet...

In school they still have old books and it shows Pluto as a planet in our solar sysytem. The children are allowed to consider it a planet for school activities. Instead of giving the kids a hard time just give them the information they need or ignore the question. For science class, we have to make a ';travel-brochure'; of a planet (in my case the dwarf planet Pluto)..Help?

http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/ could give you some good information. That is the mission page of the New Horizons spacecraft that is on its way to Pluto. The above links contain the best pictures we have thus far of Pluto since it is so small and far away, but there will be better pictures in 2015 when New Horizons passes through the Pluto system. On the mission page on the left side, there is a link to some interesting facts (P-K bits, short for Pluto and Kuiper Belt) that you might be able to use. I don't know how highly publicized this mission was, since it was launched before Pluto lost its planethood, but it has almost reached the orbit of Saturn, currently.

    Thanks
PLUTO IS NOT A PLANET! anymore
I would contact the Hilton Hotels and see what Hotels and Conference Centers they have on Pluto.

Then I would contact the YMCA, and the YWCA and see if they have any good clubs and swimming sites on Pluto.

Next, contact Kentucky Fried Chicken's Main Office in your area and see how many Fried Chicken Stores and Carry Out Places they have on Pluto.

Depending upon where you live, contact your State Game and Fish Commission and ask them about Fishing Permits on Pluto, cost, type required, etc.
I think that sounds like a fun project. try typing pluto in the search engine and check out all the sites it lists. i'm sure you'll find all the information you need and then some.
    THIS INFO MAY HELP....

Sorry for a late response, I was off trying to find links for you.

Truth be told, this is going to be literally impossible. We know absolutely nothing about Pluto's physical characteristics. We have no technology good enough yet to view or take pictures of Pluto. The best our technology can do is identify its location as well as its color. If you can, switch planets (I would recommend Mars for this particular project.). I really did my best to find anything I could for you, but all I found was Wikipedia and a couple bad pictures.

BY THE WAY, for everyone saying ';omg n00b plutos not plan3t!!!11';, It is a DWARF PLANET. The two recently discovered planets are ALSO dwarf planets.

    do u mean crocodiles?

    if so i would put the crocs on the crocodiles go back to the creature of the crocs shoes childhood and be like ';i am from the future and i have come to warn u that these shoes (holds up crocs) will destroy the world! The crocodiles take over and somehow they have harnessed power over us using the crocs! Here are some crocodiles wearing them (points at crocodiles)! i have reversed the power and controlled them using their own power! please never invent them! PLEASE!';

Then I would give him the karaoke machine as a gift so that he is happy and smiles like this :D

then he wouldn't make them and we would all be happy :D

If Chocodiles are chocolate crocodiles then i would still go back and do that whole thing but the crocs would have brought the chocodiles to life and then THEY would be controlling us (well not really but i would tell him that) and if he asked why those ones aren't alive (the ones i have) i would say that the shoes stop them from moving because they are to powerful for them and again he wouldn't make crocs. happy world :D

    YES, i am creative!
I'd go back in time to when you were 25. I'd have you explain to people that crocs are a bad fashion statement before they get started. I'd sing ';Love is a Battlefield'; on the Karaoke machine for you and then eat the chocolate crocodiles off of you....before you'd either vaporize me or make love to me...
    CROCS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?br>

lol sorry but come one, ick.

    anywho.

I would take the karaoke machine and go to the 80's, i'd be fun.

    :]

I'd gove the crocs to people who don't have shoes.

And throw arounf the Chocodiles where every I go.
    Complete fantasy here!!!

I'd go to Fizzdude's house and have a ';SHARING'; party with him. He, in the basement with the crocodiles...I am wearing the crocs and singing ';Tell Me What You Want'; loud and clear on the karaoke machine!!!!!

Y'know, not sure if you and Joan would be a great match..........but who knows? Stranger things have happened!
Well, I would go back in time just before the karaoke machine came out, and say that I invented it, so I would be rich. Then just before the chocolate company came out I would start my own company and pose that as my chocolate.
I'd go back to the place where I met the hag, feed her to the crocs while I sing Kiss' song ';I was made for loving you'; using the karaoke machine
They still make Chocodiles? I haven't seen those anywhere in years. I thought I had to travel back to the 1980s to find them.
I would chill with Adam and Eve ...

    Bang Eve ...

Strangle Adam with the cord to the microphone ...

Give Eve the Crocs to not say anything ...

    And live happily ever after.
How would one power said karaoke machine? Is it battery operated? Better have a lot of batteries.
I totally hate crocs they are sooooo lame I would refuse to even go back in time with crocs screw crocs.
    ANYWHERE!!!
I would travel back to ancient Egypt and show Nefertiti how to shake that thing.
How on Earth will I ever get all that stuff into a DeLorean Time Machine ???
I would go and talk to Shakespeare, and show him how to dance... and watch his reaction once we go and preform the NUMA NUMA dance at the Globe Theatre.
to the moon gonna get me a pair of twin aliens xD
King Arthur and I would chill. =]

Not legally. You are now in violation of your visa. You are subject to being put on the overstay list and banned from re-entering the U.S. in the future. If the date on the I-94 could be ignored, why would they even give you a date by which you are supposed to leave?

    you don't ';correct'; it.

    it is correct.

in the ASCII character set, which all PCs (ie everyone except IBM mainframes) use, upper case letters sort before lower case letters.

just be consistent about naming folders.

then it won't be a problem for you.

in fact, there could be some benefit.

if you value some folders more than others, name the ones you want to come last starting with lower case letters, and the ones you want to come earlier in the list starting with upper case (capital) letters.

and you too, can enjoy the benefits of how computers work. :-)

im going out of the country and when i get there i would like to have some protection on me. are there any rules to what your allowed to check into a suitcase? mase? taser? .....When traveling by airplane what weapons are you allowed to check on in your suit case?
Depends on the law of the country or countries you are traveling toWhen traveling by airplane what weapons are you allowed to check on in your suit case?
There are two things you're going to have to deal with: What TSA allows you to check through your luggage in leaving the States, and whet the government on the other end allows when you get there. They might also confiscate your items.

For example, both of the items you mentioned are illegal in Italy, so you need to connect with the websites for the other country's laws.
Mexico laws are very strict on personal weapons.

I would be extremely careful in taking anything, as you're liable to spend your time in the custody of El Federales.
Usually the only weapons you can take are your scathing wit and two fists.
Mexico? Pack nothing or it will be taken away and you shall spend a bit of time with the police.

Traveling to canada with criminal case pending?

ok so I was arrested and was charged with credit card fraud and theft totaling in the amount of 324. i ave a wedding coming up in canada which i need to go to canada for 2 days. will i get trouble at the border? will i be aloud to enter canada? i have only been charged not convicted.Traveling to canada with criminal case pending?
If you have a criminal record for anything else, it will show up when they swipe your passport at the border. You get a ride on the charges unless it's seen as fleeing.Traveling to canada with criminal case pending?
People can get turned back at the border for a host of reasons including that the officer made a judgement call based on the person's demeanor and the guard's gut feelings. With things like arrest records and criminal records being so easily accessed, I am going to guess the odds of your being refused entry are going to be fairly high. But you might want to check this page out. There are some good pointers on visiting.

Just to clear up something, weed and prostitution aren't legal in Canada. A person can possess a small amt of weed for their own use or for medicinal reasons and prostitution...of course it isn't.

As for the criminal case, it sounds like you don't have a record yet but the other poster is right about the travelling restrictions.
As long as you have not been convicted, you do not have a criminal record. The only thing you need to be sure of, is that the country in which you are charged has not put any travel restrictions on you as part of any bail (or other legal) requirements.
If you have not yet been convicted, you can still go. Just be sure you have a valid passport and don't try any funny business with credit cards or theft while you are in Canada
IANAL, but I guess some things that are ';criminal'; in US are not necessarily ';criminal'; in Canada!

Weed and prostitution, for example :)

I hope credit card fraud get's removed from the criminal list! I mean aren't there more important ';issues'; to tackle like terrorism - instead of imprisoning your whole population for small offenses :D

Kids traveling out of state while custody case is ongoing?

Does anyone have advice on how to prevent my ex from taking our kids out of state on vacation while we are in the midst of a custody dispute?Kids traveling out of state while custody case is ongoing?
File an injunction with the court if you have a valid concern she will not return. You could also ask for a cash bond that she would forfeit.

    Here's some more help:

Start keeping a daily journal of all your activities. The most common way to prevent a father from getting his rights through the courts is a false allegation, usually sexual. Over 60% of divorcing father are accused of child sexual abuse, of which only 4% are found to have any relevance, but there are no penalties for doing so. A daily journal is your number one piece of evidence in court and you can even refer to it while on the stand.

Gather evidence. Check the site below to see if it is illegal to record conversations without the other person knowing. If your state does not have a law either way, than it defaults to the federal ruling which says one person in a conversation must know they are being recorded. You鈥檙e that one person. In Missouri it is specifically legal, in Kansas there is no mention either way. If you live in two different states, and one has a law against it, than it applies when the call originates from within that state,

Now, you can't just record, you also have to transcribe it into the daily journal.

If you want to learn how to do all this go to Dads House in Yahoo Groups. There's an educational manual in the file section that can teach you what you need to know. The organization it came from is defunct due to attorneys that tried to take it over and make money from it.

Take the time to learn what you can and should do.

First of all, why. If it is only for a vacation. What's the harm? It might even be fun for the kids. If you are afraid that they're not coming back then I can see your problem. Call your attorney and ask for an emergency temporary custody order. That will at least get custody established for a short period of time at least until a more permanent order can be put in place. But seriously if it is only for a vacation and they are going to return, show some good faith and let them go.

if he wants to be an *** he can call the cops on you and get you for kidnapping, i know it sounds stupid but it happen with me as a child. same thing . my dad took me out of state and my mom called the cops and since they were going through custody battles my dad was arrested but soon things came back together. i hope the best for u , sucks for ur kids because they probably need a vacation
go to your atorney and tell him to ask for a rule nisi hearing and ask that the kids don't travel out of state but you really need a very good reason for this hearing.
In most states, it is illegal for the children to leave the state during an ongoing custody dispute. I would check your state laws.
Tell the police you suspect this may happen and maybe they will let him know officially that he can not do that. Some states have laws that prevent this. I am not sure which ones.
I agree with Kj Jr, why make the kids suffer anymore than they already are? Boy Grow the Uck Up okay!
geez, let your kids have some fun. why do they have to suffer your dispute?

Need excellent lawyer for workers-comp case. Live in FL case in NY. Have all info needed, can travel some?

THE best way to find a lawyer is by word of mouth. Ask your: family, friends, coworkers, anyone you might know in the same situation, etc.

    OR

Call your local (usually county) bar association. Ask for names of attorneys that handle Workmens' Comp. (If money is a BIG problem, you could also ask for the phone number of your local LegalAid office. - the attorneys at LegalAid are ';real'; attorneys, but sometimes in the field of Law, how much you are willing to pay does affect the quality you get.)

When you call the law office(s), insist on speaking with the Lawyer. Just tell the Secretary the main idea of your matter - do not tell all the little details of your matter to the Secretary - save the details for the Attorney. When you get the Lawyer on the phone line, ask him/her:

    - Do they give FREE, initial consultations? (most do, but not all - you have to ask, don't assume)

    - How much do they charge?

    - Could you make payments on your account?

    - Can they help you? OR Refer you to someone who can help you?

    Good luck.

(This is based on my knowledge, information, belief, and life experiences. This was intended as personal opinion, and not intended to be used as legal advice. Seeking advice over the Internet is not a good idea - the field of Law is too complex for that. Please be careful and do your research.)

What golf travel bags are the best? hard case or soft?

well if you are traveling and wanted to protect an egg, you wouldnt use a soft case would you? to protect something...i think one would use a hard case so that the case would take the impact and the item inside wouldnt be harmed.

    so, i would say..hard case =)

the links below are good travel golf bags. take a look! =)What golf travel bags are the best? hard case or soft?
Don't forget about hybrid bags! While not as protective as a hard case, they are cheaper and lighter and still better in general than a fully soft bag.

What golf travel bags are the best? hard case or soft?
Definitely a hard case. I've seen how the luggage handlers throw the bags around. If you value your clubs...go with a hard case!
IMHO, go with a hard case, as crushing and bending are the forces you are attempting to avert and a hard case does best. If I was in the market, I think I'd go with the Trav-a-lite. It's a travel case, so you don't need a separate case and bag. The price is right too, use the link below. I'd go with the model 12 or 14.

By the way, thanks for asking a new and original question, it's really refreshing!
hard cases are much more durable, but soft are muchhh lighter. so there's pros and cons to both. but i'd go with a hard if i was you.
I'd say it depends on what you are looking for in your travel bag. If you are looking for the most portable, get a Club Glove. If you are looking for the most protection, get a Club Glove. If you are looking for a bargain, you deserve to have your clubs broken. But seriously, Club Glove is used by almost every PGA Pro, without contracts. It is not cheap, but less expensive than replacing your clubs. If you want additional protection, get the Stiff-Arm, which basically prevents your bag from flexing and snapping.
hard case. Less risk of scraching or ruining clubs. Also most of them are on wheels
    hard case

make sure to get something that will protect your bags!!!!
Hard case if you're flying your clubs a lot. I have a padded soft case and I wrap towels around the heads for extra cushion. I haven't flown my clubs too much, but when I did, they were fine. If you get a hard case, get one with rollers so you don't have to carry it through the airport with the rest of your luggage.

Is morality a luxury? this seems to be the case especially when one travels to ';3rd world '; countries

sometimes survival does not allow much room for moral judgement. e.g. vegetarianism, child labour etc.

Each culture has its own truths according to circumstance or power. Is morality a luxury? this seems to be the case especially when one travels to ';3rd world '; countries
Morality can often look like luxury or even foolishness, since it usually clashes with narrow self interests in the immediate term...... however, viewed from a longer term point, it is not only preferable but actually essential for collective wellbeing and cooperation of a society and hence, important for all the members within it.... any society that discards morality is bound to disintegrate and depreciate in the longer run such that no member can escape the inevitable ill effects...... in my view, the erosion of morality is the cause rather than the symptom for the strife and poverty in the third world, although I must point out that clubbing the entire third world into such a state of affairs is rather an unwarranted and hasty generalization. In my view, today the level of morality in the affluent countries too is not much to speak of, is it? Erosion of morality is a much wider malaise today than pinning it down on excuses like survival, regional culture or even education. It is, plain and simple, the result of stark materialism right across the world and cultures. Is morality a luxury? this seems to be the case especially when one travels to ';3rd world '; countries
more to the point, to who's morality to you make your statement based on??

all to often we judge other culture and ideas based on our own morality.

i think it is horribly wrong and narrow minded to do that.

the best example i can give of that is that in some countries it is punishable by law to be seen kissing in public.!!

in others it isn't , does that make the country where that law is in place more moral than in those don't!!!

do countries who require as a moral and religious principle that women should keep their heads covered or their faces any more or less moral than those that don't??.

do we judge morals based on a Christian bible , or the quarun, the bohgavadita(didn't spell that right).

or any other philosophical /religious text.

to try and impose what is moral on another culture regardless of how right you think you are is wrong.
    morality is an illusion.
Yes, in that morality (and it's cultural sibling, ethics) are a human invention. That cultural invention allows humans to share ';protocols'; and shared means of transactions. And that same invention also stipulates the violations of protocol and transaction, and the penalties for those violations.

One might expect that as cultures generate more wealth (stuff to exchange like wheat, mates, labor, skills, property, etc), the more elaborate will be the moral codes associated with that culture. And in fact, that is what the evidence shows. As cultures become larger, they develop ever more extensive legal codes (which are just the formal way of expressing moral codes). Primitive cultures have fairly simple, if stringent codes. Feudal societies have a bit more. And nation-states have more still. The richer you are, the more morality (at least in terms of quantity) you can afford. As for moral quality, that may be a different issue-- not sure. Although I do suspect that quality of moral sentiment is something the rich tend to enjoy more often than the less fortunate.

I agreed with the poster above, small I think was his name, up to a point. But when he began to blame the victim for their lack of good fortune, he committed a gross fallacy. And he also contradicted himself by saying that 3rd world people suffer materially because of their lack of moral quality, but that advanced nations don't do any better because of their material wealth. You can't have it both ways, sugar!
although many people have different out workings of morality, they still share a common morality. for instance, abortionists and anti-abortionists agree that murder is wrong, but they disagree on whether abortion is murder

When traveling without children what should be done to protect children in case of parents death?

If parents are traveling together and something tragic were to happen to them, would a signed, handwritten letter from the parents giving custody to say an uncle or grandmother be enough to grant custody?

What needs to be done to give legal custody to the child in case of death? When traveling without children what should be done to protect children in case of parents death?
create a willWhen traveling without children what should be done to protect children in case of parents death?
you should just get a will written out
All parents should probably have what is called a ';Living Will'; and in this legal documents, they can state their wishes for their children if an emergency or some tragedy would occur.

Otherwise family members might start arguing over the decisions that would need to be made. And no one wants the courts deciding personal business, do we?
A will needs to be written. A handwritten letter is not legal, however a will is. Even if you don't own anything else, that is the only way to protect your children. It needs to say that in case of death of both parents, the children go to so-and-so. If you don't have a will and both parents die, the children automatically become wards of the state and if any family members wants to have the children, it's a long, expensive court battle that they'll probably lose.

    Get a will ASAP.
You can't ';will'; your children to anyone, as another person said. Wills are for finances and possessions, not people. And naming a guardian is just that - you name someone you would ';prefer';, but the state ultimately has a lot of red tape for them to go through in order to follow the process if they have only been named through a document once you're dead. (But it's not like your kids will end up in foster care if you don't name someone and a family member wants your children - courts do NOT break up family bonds through blood unless there is specific reason to do so, i.e.. neglect, abuse, unfit home structure, etc.) What you really need to do (and what we are doing as soon as our little one is born) is establish a guardianship for whomever you want to take your child while you are still alive and of sound mind. You need a lawyer to draft the paperwork, and both parties have to be present and willing to sign. Because the decision was made while you were still alive the courts will be more in line with your decision. Then you'll need to make sure that the guardian is set up to receive your death benefits (insurance, social security payments for the children, etc) in a trust for the kids, and again, this is something that the lawyer who sets up the guardianship can do. You'll also want to go to your bank and set up a ';Payable Upon Death'; beneficiary, otherwise there's a ton of hoops your family will have to jump through in order to get to your funds and it can take a very long time. (You don't need a lawyer for this - just go to your bank and ask them about it.) Put it this way: anything that you don't do while you're alive will be administered by the state government, and so taking care of if while you're still around is the best way to handle it. We've got four dogs and have a legal document drawn up for who gets them if we both die - as well as a financial stipend for their care.
You can do the will plus get travel ins. The letter will depend on the state and how old the child is. I don't think custody would be a problem due to most states don't want to separate the child from the family or take responsibility for the child unless there is abuse of some sort. there are already a lot of orphans they can't find homes for. Plus the relatives could just take temp. custody of the child/ren and start the adoption process.
    A will
    A legal will in place.
its a long and complicated battle and it depends on where your from anything with their signiture saying you can have custody they would allso have to put it in their will
    a will.
If you have children, you should really set up a legal will. Its the only way you can assure your children will be protected with the least amount of issues.
All parents should probably have a will. In this legal document, they can state their wishes for their children if an emergency or some tragedy would occur. The parents can state who gets custody over their children. If you don't have a will I would suggest getting one ASAP. Why? If you don't the government will take legal action and your children most likely will end up in a foster home. I'm pretty sure that no one wants the government to decide your personal business.
Unless the laws have changed you can not will your children to someone, you can however state that you want so and so to become the guardian of the children in the event of both parents deaths and the judge will take all of that into consideration, however if you say you want Aunt Jo to have the kids but Grandma Mary wants them then the Grandma has rights to go to court and seek custody of the children, sometimes they win and sometimes they dont. To protect your children you need to have an actual will wrote up and filed. This will handle who needs to hold any assetts for the children till they turn 18 and what needs to be done with any property, without the will any and all property, savings etc would all go to probate and then it could take months if not more before your chuildren got anything. In the will you can express that it is your wish that Aunt Jo become the legal guardian of the children and provide for their well being until they become an adult but you can not say they go live with her. it is best that you express your wishes to all family memebers and tell them why you think the person you chose is the best one so that their is no hard feelings later on.

is this true or jsut bullshit or jsut rareWhen traveling in buses in thailand (it said in some cases that people streal your bags when traveling buses)?
It does happen. It happens most often on ';VIP'; buses that get sold to backpackers and western travellers. They load the bags in the cargo hold, and then someone sneaks underneath and goes through the people's bags.

It's easily avoided though, just do this:

    - DONT travel on Tourist buses. If you want to catch a bus, go to the BUS STATION and buy your ticket. DONT buy it from a travel agent. This way you'll be travelling on the buses that the Thai people travel on, which are far safer and often more comfortable.

    - DONT put anything valuable in your bag. It's common sense but Ive heard heaps of stories of people who have had expensive camera stolen from their bags in the cargo hold. It's simple, if you havent got anything worth stealing in your bag they wont steal from you. Take your valuables with you on board the bus.

    - DONT accept food or drink from other passengers on the bus. It's rare, but sometimes other passengers will offer you food or drink that has been drugged and then when you fall asleep they will rob you on the bus. Just say ';No thanks'; if someone offers you food.

Do this, and the chances of having things stolen on bus trips will be very, very small. When traveling in buses in thailand (it said in some cases that people streal your bags when traveling buses)?
It can happen of course, but it can happen in any country. I doubt That Thailand is any worse than anywhere else, and probably a lot safer than many. I've been travelling there for over twenty years and it has never happened to me
I've never had anything stolen from me in Thailand. When I'm on the overnight buses, though, I keep my bag on my person, not in the overhead, and I take it with me to the toilet.

I once saw a pickpocket foiled. It was on the BTS in Bangkok. A Farang woman suddenly realised that her wallet was missing. A middle-aged Thai woman tapped her and pointed to a young Thai man wearing a jacket. She said in English that she had seen him take her wallet. The man started shaking his head and vehemently denying it. Just then a freakishly large Farang man, about 6'6'; and heavy-set pushed his weigh through the crowd and told the young man to give it back. The train stopped and the doors opened. The young man tried to bolt, but the big Farang held him fast. Finally after about thirty seconds of this, the young man produced the wallet and bowed his head. It seemed he changed his mind when he couldn't get away and the crowd started shouting ';Police!'; This was a nice change from the usual way things go.
Theft can happen there. All I can say is take precautions.
It's partly BS. It can happen, but it very rarely does.

And when it does, who is to say if the culprit was a Thai or a down-and-out farang?
no worse or better than anywhere else really. Most thais wont steal directly ,sharp practice is a different matter

Just don't be careless with your stuff
It is rare unless you are traveling with or near a lot of backpackers. Not trying to be offensive it's just that this is where the thefts occur as many of these folks are running around on a shoe-string. The Thais don't seem to steal as there are severe penalties if they do, they are also as a people not inclined to commit theft.

IT is an acoustic epiphone DR-100

I have a soft backback nylon case. I just need it to end up with me in New Mexico, from phoenix, without being checked.I need help witha guitar traveling on Southwest airlines in a soft case.?
If you want to carry it on the plane, they will probably make you buy an extra seat.

    This is from Southwest's website:

    Carryon Baggage

Per TSA regulations, carryon items are limited to one bag plus one smaller, personal-type item.

Personal-type items include purses, briefcases, cameras, food containers, or laptops (case included).

Southwest Airlines limits carryon bag dimensions to 10x16x24 inches.

All Customers and Employees and their items are subject to a thorough, physical search.

The following items are not considered carryon bags or personal-type items and are not counted against the “one-bag plus one personal-type item” limit:

A child restraint device for a child who has been ticketed, who has a seat reserved, or for which complimentary, available space exists.

Assistive/mobility devices for individuals with a disability. There is no limit to the number of assistive/mobility devices a Customer can bring onboard the aircraft.

Outer garments or other wearable articles of clothing.

Food for consumption during flight contained in disposable packaging.

    Walking canes or umbrellas.

    Musical Instruments

If your musical instrument does not meet the sizing requirements for carryon items (10”x16”x24”), it will be handled as checked baggage provided you do not wish to purchase a seat for the instrument.

In the event you are traveling with a musical instrument that is larger than our sizing requirements for carryon luggage and is fragile in nature, you may purchase a seat for the instrument and carry it in the cabin under the following conditions:

The instrument must fit in the seat without blocking aircraft signage and be secured with a seatbelt.

The instrument must be placed in the first row and in a seat closer to the window than any other Customer in that row.

Reservations must be made and a ticket must be purchased at a charge no greater than the Child’s Fare. Musical instruments cannot be transported in place of a free companion under any fare promotion.

Instruments that are transported in a soft-sided case or other packaging that is not strong enough to protect the instrument under normal baggage handling conditions will be conditionally accepted, which means that Southwest assumes no liability for any damage sustained to the item during transport.I need help witha guitar traveling on Southwest airlines in a soft case.?
You can bring it on as a carryon, and are allowed one other smaller item. Just try to make sure you check in early for your boarding pass. If you end up one of the last people onboard on a full flight, you might end up checking it if there's no overhead bin space left.

I have a uk student visa for another two years. in dat case do i have to get visa to travel to swiss?

    Sidwells answer is wrong!

At present a valid UK Student Visa with multiple entry waives the visa requirement for tourist visits to Switzerland.

This visa waiver will cease to exist when Switzerland starts to operate under the provisions of the Schengen Agreement which is planned to start on 12/13 December 2008.

After that date the requirement of a visa is purely based on your passport. Visa waived countries are all EU countries and Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, USA, Uruguay, Vatican City, and Venezuela.

Car has same kinethic energy/traveling north and traveling south. is the momentum in both cases the same?

physicsCar has same kinethic energy/traveling north and traveling south. is the momentum in both cases the same?
Momentum is not the same for each direction as momentum is a vector and must specify a direction. The amount (magnitude) of the momentum is the same, but the direction is different, so the momenta are different in this example.Car has same kinethic energy/traveling north and traveling south. is the momentum in both cases the same?
The momentum is the same in terms of magnitude, assuming both have the same conditions. However, since momentm is a vector, their direcion is different.

One was 2 circular pots joined together with plastic with screw on lids.

The other is a inch high pot with a screw on lid, the lid is attached to a plastic cage that the contact lenses are held in.

Im going to ask my optician when i pick up my next batch but does anyone have any advice?

Do I need to have protective injections for travelling to Manila Philippine just in case?

I will only be visiting the city, but I am not too sure if I need to be protected just in case.Do I need to have protective injections for travelling to Manila Philippine just in case?
I got all my injections. The only ones that I would say to do for sure is get your HepA and HepB shots. its a custom on filipinos where you share glasses of alcohol for comraderie sake. Also, I do not know where you are eating and such so you ';might'; go to a place where there are safe cooking practices. Personally I have never gotten sick eating at any canteen and such so I just use common sense. The other shots are recommended are japanese encephalites (this its totally uncessary) and the Dengeue Fever shot. (another one not needed unless you are gonna go deep in a province..which you are not) And as far as your Malaria goes, just takes the pills if you happen to get it. I never had a problem with mosquitos. Heck, I dont even think I got 1 mosquito bite since I been here.Do I need to have protective injections for travelling to Manila Philippine just in case?
    Do it just in case.

The cities are fine but I remember once I got sick and had to stay in hospital for a week when I visited the Philippines a long time ago. Once I was at the hospital the IV needle broke and I bled out for 3 minutes before someone came to help me. Needless to say it wasn't the best experience haha.
This is silly. I had been living in United States and Canada for more than 20 years and every time I go home I just go home without any vaccine nor injection.

The same with other people I know who go to the Philippines from time to time and I have never heard of them getting vaccination.

For one thing... anti tetanus is a good thing to always have because scratches and tiny wounds are unavoidable. But for any other disease this is pure paranoia.

Go get H1N1 vaccine if you wish to, however, take this as a warning.. FOX NEWS: revealed by a doctor specialized in vaccination that H1N1 vaccine do more harm than what it is meant for cure.

    Just thought you should know..

Yes. It's advisable, just in case.
there's always an advisory from where you will be coming from. but just to be sure check this website www.doh.gov.ph (its the department of health) they may have some local advisory.

Is morality a luxury? this seems to be the case especially when one travels to ';3rd world '; countries

sometimes survival does not allow much room for moral judgement. e.g. vegetarianism, child labour etc.

at least the kind we are concerned with in the west.

Each culture has its own truths according to circumstance or power. Is morality a luxury? this seems to be the case especially when one travels to ';3rd world '; countries
Each culture defines it's own morality. There are basic instincts that are more fundamental than morality, such as food and propagation of the species.

A high level of morality is one of the benificial outcomes of an advanced civilization. Also, a concern for morality helps develope high level societies.

A people must have time to contemplate. Success in the ability to provide basic needs in less time that a full day facilitates free time. There must be time to consider one's condition in order to achieve high morality. Is morality a luxury? this seems to be the case especially when one travels to ';3rd world '; countries
Good question. I believe yes morality is a luxury. As for the gentleman below who says that morality is not a luxury, it is just not a necessity- isn't that what a luxury is?

I wouldn't say that morality is a luxury, merely that it's not a necessity, and sometimes has to take a back seat to what IS a necessity.

The clash happens when we try to make people comply to our morality when they don't live in a society that has the spare resources to allow for it.

The ultimate example of this was the campaign against American companies that used factories in 3rd world countries that employed child labor.

American consumers were able to feel morally superior because they said ';I don't buy stuff made by child labor'; - but the result was that children (especially girl children) in Indonesia and other countries were fired from their jobs, and either died, or turned to things like prostitution because they had no other income to buy food, and had parents that couldn't afford them either.

    Richard
Morality is sometimes relative to the circumstances. It means doing what's right in a given situation. Sometimes it requires hard choices, picking the least bad of bad choices. It's not as simple as some people would like to believe.

Refractive index of medium 1 is greater than that of medium 2 . in which case light will travel fast?

    n = v1 / v2 %26gt; 1

This number is typically greater than one: the higher the index of the material, the more the light is slowed down.Refractive index of medium 1 is greater than that of medium 2 . in which case light will travel fast?
Higher the refractive index less is the speed of light in the medium.

Or if refracticve index decreases, the speed increases.

Speed of light is maximum in vacuum and is equal to 3x10^8m/s.

In any other medium it is less than this.

In glass the speed is 2x10^8m/s.

The refractive index of glass is 3/2 = 1.5.

The refractive index of water is 1.3. That is the speed of light in water is 2.3x10^8m/s.

Therefore, if refractive index decreases the speed increases.Refractive index of medium 1 is greater than that of medium 2 . in which case light will travel fast?
the more light is bent (refracted), the further it has to travel. Since a straight line is always the fastest path, light will travel faster in a material with a lower refractive index.
    refractive index=speddinvaccum/speed in medium

now i think you can find it out
The answer is medium 2 because refraction can slow the appearance of light.
Yes, with greater refraction the light will have to travel farther and will take more time to reach a given destination. The higher the refractive index, the lower the speed at which light travels. Light can actually be slowed down below its speed in a vacuum which is known as c (c=186,000 miles/sec or 299,792,458 meters/sec). Because different wavelengths are slowed to different speeds, white light separates out into the full spectrum such that you can see a 'rainbow' when the white light emerges from a prism.

If we have not got any small change, we buy a newspaper or some sweets in the airport, before we get our car.
The dollar is so low best take a wheelbarrow if you exchange a pound for small change!
Just buy something in the airport. Doh! (If you really are as stupid as this question suggests, I wouldn't bother going if I were you).
Don't bother... the chances you'll get stopped on a toll road here are so slim.

  • Do u know anything about Travel and Tourism Law?What do you think the outcome of the case below was? help?

A couple booked a 2 consecutive cruises from Montego,Jamaica.Included in the package was flight from UK.They paid an upgrade fee for premium service which included better seats and in-flight%26amp;security priority bagage location.the outbound flight was delayed for a range of reasons including the delay of the incoming flight, prolonged safety checks, strong headwinds and a damaged runway.the flightwas diverted for refuelling and a new crew had to be obtained for the last part of the journey.During the flight they did not receive the special meals expected as a part of the premium service and they found the crew unhelpful.despite assurances that the cruise ship would wait for them,it had in fact departed.they were offered the alternatives of a week at an all inclusive 4* resort, catch the 2nd cruise %26amp; 拢100 each in compensation.they chose to stay.On return, they claimed against Airtours, arguing the causes of the delay were foreseeble %26amp; that the cruise ship could have waited for them.Pease helpDo u know anything about Travel and Tourism Law?What do you think the outcome of the case below was? help?
A cruise liner will not wait for a passenger ,They are bound by departure times as well as docking charges and pilot fees.

These charges are in the thousands of pounds region ,and a delay will incur penalty's, so it is up to the passenger to check in on time. .

As for the flight, they had ordered special meals and they should have been delivered , Delays in the flight caused by headwinds could not be foreseen. Though i would imagine Air tours have a duty to get them to the dock in reasonable time before check in.Do u know anything about Travel and Tourism Law?What do you think the outcome of the case below was? help?
To be honest I dont fancy the chances of being offered anything more than they have accepted. Once compensation is offered and accepted there is no chance to appeal for more because you have already agreed to a settlement. Sadly, Airtours are known for being unhelpful in cases similar to this. The only advise I can give is not to book with ScareTours again.
Unfortunatly, the problems with the flight delays are not down to Airtours. No one can forsee delays due to strong head winds or delays from an incoming flight. It is very unfortuante that there was so many problems with the flight and this can be taken up with the airline with regards to the meals and the attitude of the staff. As advised the cruise ship has to depart when advsied as they have time slots and can only delay for a short period of time if at all. If you have any questions you can talk to ABTA and ask for their advice as to where to go next if they are still unhappy.

    Hope this helps.
A ship cannot wait too long for passengers because of docking fees, pilots, tug boats and of course the tides. The ship has to get out of port before sea level is too low.

Anyway, I don't think the delays in the flight were foreseeable.
I'm in the US and agree with several points already made -

Cruise ships cannot %26amp; do not wait.

Airline can't predict the weather and the consequences

Passengers accepted the compensation offered (although I would have held out for much for)

I would still hound Airtours to refund the amount paid for the flight upgrades and not accept ';no'; for an answer.

I'm not familiar with Airtours, however, if these people had booked through a travel agent, and if Airtours has a reputation, then the agent might have steered them to a more reliable company. If they did book this through an agent, then they should be on the phone with the agent 3 or more times a day pushing to get a fair compensation.

The passengers would have much more recourse if they had purchased travel insurance. I always recommend my clients purchase travel insurance from a reputable, independent supplier in the US such as Travelex or TravelGuard rather than purchase the insurance from the tour company or cruise line.

There are several excellent reasons for doing this:

    - Independent insurance covers all aspects of your trip vs. limited coverage by tour company or cruise line

    - More comprehensive coverage at a lower price from independents

    - Some tour companies offer compensation in the form of credit on a future trip (and may not be enough for a full trip) instead of a cash compensation.

If they had had travel insurance, your passengers would have been able to file an insurance claim for Trip Delay, Missed Connection, Itinerary Change, and possibly other aspects of the insurance policy.

I strongly recommend travel insurance to all of my clients. If you are spending a nice sum for a well-deserved vacation, spending a little more to assure you are covered for ';vacationi disasters'; is a small price to pay.

    Best of luck!

Why cant they just freeze all airport travels to prevent swine flu case?

and let the whole nation cure themselves first until the disease gets lesser and lesser?

ugh because of that stupid flu, i can't go to college schools. Why cant they just freeze all airport travels to prevent swine flu case?
because people are money hungry and with the world Recession nobody will shut down airports.

because the companies would lose billions of dollers from having to repay all the tickets, because of the delays, stoping plans/flights they would have to pay extra to staff because they cant work etc untill the world was cured its not just happening in america its happening all over the place usa australia new zealand imagine how many flights there are just between the 3 countries without adding england asia etc to it thats a shitload of money and time.

i no how you feel it's effecting a shitload of people and it sucks unfortunatly it isnt as easy as we would like it to be.Why cant they just freeze all airport travels to prevent swine flu case?
It is too late to freeze the airports - the virus has spread globally. The Swine Flu has reached every continent.

Focus on prevention - wash your hands and sneeze or cough into your sleeve. Practice good hygiene to decrease your chances of contracting the virus.

    http://www.theheartyapple.com/top-10-way鈥?/a>
It's too late for that. The cat is out of the bag. The 2009 Flu is Pandemic.

It's not the deadly flu it seemed to be in the early reports.

I've survived 2 Pandemics in my long life, and it wasn't a very big deal. This one looks to be about the same.

Except that this time, we'll have a vaccine within a few months; and so we may not have as much absenteeism this winter as we did from the other two.

If you are in the Southern Hemisphere, you will have to get through the Winter without the benefit of a vaccine, so wash your hands and wipe your desk with a disinfectant. Don't share drinks. And try to avoid sick people. If you're really concerned, be ready to get a prescription for Tamiflu or Relenza at the first sign of illness. You'll be fine. Most people are just toughing it out without treatment.
Would YOU want to be the one responsible for telling millions people that they can't travel!?!?! That would start shut dowbn a LOT of businesses, and start a civil war!

Where do you live that Swine Flu is preventing you from going anywhere? Travel in the United States is unrestricted. If you live in the US, the only limits on where you tavel is YOU.
I don't think that is the answer, I think people that are sick and think they have this flu should stay away from other people, and we should all try to stay as healthy as possible, if everyone does that, then it will stop this thing.

And pray too. It's not at the stage where you have to be terribly worried about it, but you need to be concerned.
Not airplanes, boats, etc. are the cause of flu.

If you wanna prevent flu you outta know this.

Which languages u beleive its important for surviving in case that u want to travel a lot? (except english?

Why the english people dont learn other languages?Which languages u beleive its important for surviving in case that u want to travel a lot? (except english?
Spanish (for Central and South America), French (for much of Africa), Russian (all of the former republics of the Soviet Union in Europe and Asia), and Arabic (Middle East and North Africa) are four excellent ';travel languages';. Together, I wouldn't doubt if the areas these languages are spoken in covered more than half the earth.

As for why we don't learn other languages, IT'S HARD! Especially since our public school system almost never starts teaching other languages until high school (that's how it is in the United States, anyway). By that point, we are old enough that learning new languages is difficult. If we started learning earlier, I have no doubt that we would know many more langauges.Which languages u beleive its important for surviving in case that u want to travel a lot? (except english?
Latin, Arabic, Mandarin. They're the languages most other languages are compared to.
if you can speak english and spanish you are set!
Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese and Russian.

The answer to your second question, because most of us speak English as well so not everybody is bothered by learning an other language since assuming that most speak English.
Really depends on where you plan on traveling--to central/south America, you'd want Spanish. For Brazil/Portugal--Portuguese. May want to figure out where you're going to travel before deciding on the language.
    spanish and french
In my opinion, Spanish or Latin and Mandarin. But I suppose it depends greatly on the circumstances, doesn't it?
One romance language, Spanish (because of their similarites you will somehow understand Portuguese Italian, French).

Next, Mandarin, particularly reading and writing Chinese. Chinese characters are used in the Japanese language and Korean language.
    Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic
    spanish and french
i know english and spanish (grew up with it), in school i learned latin which helped with all latin based languages (french, english, spanish, italian, etc.) i'm learning japanese but mostly because of the games. to survive in this world it would be best to study one latin based language (a romance language for example), mandarin chinese and/or japanese one should help with the other (at least in writting the language), and a middle eastern language (arabic, farci, etc). with these you should be well covered.
    pig latin.
french and mandarin if you are traveling to the east.
if you know spanish then you can get around in the central, south, and italy. Italian and spanish have a lot of words alike, probably because most other languages formed from latin. I know an italian guy that can talk to mexicans for the most part, few of the words are different, but to survive, sure thing.

or D. None of the above, just stay here and deal with it

I am a 23 year old college graduate I hate my job and have a bad case of Wanderlust I NEED to travel and soon
I agree with embi40. You are at a stage in your life where you can take more risks since you have less responsibilities. Enjoy the freedom and live your life with no regrets. In my opinion having great adventures now will make you more satisfied with settling into marriage and/or career later.

I spent 5 years in a job I disliked for a good portion of that time. I quit and went to work elsewhere for half the money and have never regretted it. (I did not stay at that salary level).

Have a great trip %26amp; best wishes on finding a job you love!I am a 23 year old college graduate I hate my job and have a bad case of Wanderlust I NEED to travel and soon
Hey there, I am also 23 and I'm finding it hard to decide what to do with my life too. You are lucky that you have the money to travel. I spent about two years jumping from one job to the next and am just beginning to experience REAL WORK. It think it's best that we explore while we are still young.

I say A. Take a vacation this year and come back and start focusing on what you want to do. Backpacking across Europe sounds great but it takes money as does coming back and restarting your life. Quitting your job at the moment may not be the most realistic thing to do. You have a college degree try finding jobs in your field, maybe some that will allow you to travel and see new places.
Each one of your answers will have a different impact and different consequence on your life. Only you can decide what you are willing to deal with after you've made your decision but as someone twice your age I can tell you this- do something with your life you enjoy. Time goes by quickly and if you are wasting it in a job you hate and feel like the joy is being sucked out of your life then CHANGE IT! Making major changes in your life only gets more difficult as you get older. Imagine trying to make this decision when you have a mortgage and kids and bills galore. Whatever you decide to do, put your heart into it and get whatever you can out of the experience.

    Good luck to you.

PS- if I were 23 again I'd go with C.
Hi. I know exactly what you are feeling. I've felt the same way myself and I have not quite hit 23 yet! As for my advice, I would have to go with E. None of the above. Like I said, I've felt almost the exact same way only managing a Harkins Theatres (the pay sucks). Then I found another way out. Now I am able to travel, work while traveling, have fun while traveling, and do as much traveling as I want because it is virtually free! I have included a website below. If you are truly looking for a way out of working your whole life away, then you might want to take a look. Follow the link and click on the big number ';2';. It is a quick 12-13 minute movie that goes through and tells you exactly how to do what I am doing (and loving it). After you have watched the movie please feel free to email me at the below address and we can discuss this futher.
Oh man I feel the same way and I'm only in my 2nd year. I was thinking of moving to Guam or something, to get away from all this ignorance in America. Could you move somewhere for a while and just enjoy the ocean? My choice would be C. It all depends on how important other things are in your life. If you would like to be wealthy later on, maybe dealing with it for a while would be the best thing to get your finances in order, then going for it. Thing is we only live once so if you are unhappy don't stay at it too long. Experience the world around you because it'll never happen again. Good luck with your decision and I wish you the best!
