Kids traveling out of state while custody case is ongoing?

Does anyone have advice on how to prevent my ex from taking our kids out of state on vacation while we are in the midst of a custody dispute?Kids traveling out of state while custody case is ongoing?
File an injunction with the court if you have a valid concern she will not return. You could also ask for a cash bond that she would forfeit.

Here's some more help:

Start keeping a daily journal of all your activities. The most common way to prevent a father from getting his rights through the courts is a false allegation, usually sexual. Over 60% of divorcing father are accused of child sexual abuse, of which only 4% are found to have any relevance, but there are no penalties for doing so. A daily journal is your number one piece of evidence in court and you can even refer to it while on the stand.

Gather evidence. Check the site below to see if it is illegal to record conversations without the other person knowing. If your state does not have a law either way, than it defaults to the federal ruling which says one person in a conversation must know they are being recorded. You鈥檙e that one person. In Missouri it is specifically legal, in Kansas there is no mention either way. If you live in two different states, and one has a law against it, than it applies when the call originates from within that state,

Now, you can't just record, you also have to transcribe it into the daily journal.

If you want to learn how to do all this go to Dads House in Yahoo Groups. There's an educational manual in the file section that can teach you what you need to know. The organization it came from is defunct due to attorneys that tried to take it over and make money from it.

Take the time to learn what you can and should do.

First of all, why. If it is only for a vacation. What's the harm? It might even be fun for the kids. If you are afraid that they're not coming back then I can see your problem. Call your attorney and ask for an emergency temporary custody order. That will at least get custody established for a short period of time at least until a more permanent order can be put in place. But seriously if it is only for a vacation and they are going to return, show some good faith and let them go.

if he wants to be an *** he can call the cops on you and get you for kidnapping, i know it sounds stupid but it happen with me as a child. same thing . my dad took me out of state and my mom called the cops and since they were going through custody battles my dad was arrested but soon things came back together. i hope the best for u , sucks for ur kids because they probably need a vacation
go to your atorney and tell him to ask for a rule nisi hearing and ask that the kids don't travel out of state but you really need a very good reason for this hearing.
In most states, it is illegal for the children to leave the state during an ongoing custody dispute. I would check your state laws.
Tell the police you suspect this may happen and maybe they will let him know officially that he can not do that. Some states have laws that prevent this. I am not sure which ones.
I agree with Kj Jr, why make the kids suffer anymore than they already are? Boy Grow the Uck Up okay!
geez, let your kids have some fun. why do they have to suffer your dispute?
