How to get rid of oil stains inside travel case?

We had a lot of oily snacks in the travel case when we returned from India to US, and one bag had split open and the inside of the suitcase is now coated with oil.

I had tried dusting talcum on it, leaving for a day, and trying to brush it off, but my vacuum cleaner does not even absorb all the talc.

Any ideas to make the travel case usable again? Thanks! How to get rid of oil stains inside travel case?
Dishwashing detergent or shampoo - either is meant to absorb and wash away oil.How to get rid of oil stains inside travel case?
If you do not want to get the liner, you can try using corn or potato starch on the oil. It absorbs a lot better than talc. You might have better luck getting the talc out with a damp terry towel.
